WHAT IS NW FURNITURE BANK? NW Furniture Bank helps restore hope, dignity and stability in our community by recycling donated furniture to people in need. NW Furniture Bank serves about 130 families each month giving them dignity and stability as they rebuild their lives. Watch this fantastic video to give you a good idea about who we are and how we serve the community. And here’s a link to our website: http://www.nwfurniturebank.org/ Parking: Please DO NOT park on Puyallup Ave, but turn onto the dead-end street at the left side of the Hope Furnishings building and park in the fenced parking lot. Come in through the orange door. We suggest leaving valuables tucked away in your vehicle.        WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? §  Having some fun!! §  Assembling IKEA furniture.  All tools are provided. §  Note: All volunteers must be 14 or older. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? §  You should dress comfortably and in clothing that can get dusty or dirty. Layers work well since the temperature of the warehouse varies. §  You will be working on concrete flooring – good comfy shoes are suggested! Shoes must be close-toed; no sandals allowed. §  Feel free to bring a water bottle and a snack if you need something.  We have coffee! CAN I BRING DONATIONS ON MY VOLUNTEER DAY? Yes!
