Tables of Grace Bremerton. Wait, what?! Bremerton? I know about Tacoma. What’s up with Bremerton? In the fall of 2018 we put three apple trees on the plaza and asked the question, “What is the true fruit of an apple tree?” The easy, but incorrect answer is, “an apple.”  The correct answer is, “another apple tree.” We believe as a congregation that God has called us to produce more apple trees, not just apples. Those trees were planted and are thriving, just like our vision continues to thrive. To that end, we have been praying for God’s leading. For over a year we have felt that God was laying Bremerton on our hearts. A few months ago, we were approached by the Covenant Church in Bremerton to see if we would be interested in planting a Tables of Grace using their facilities in Bremerton. Our multi-site team (Barb Morrett, Jon Nichols, Mike Hagen, Blake Merwin, Mark Willson and Michael White) believe that God is calling us to go to Bremerton also. We always begin with prayer. We did a congregational prayer walk before we launched the North Campus. We did a prayer walk before we launched tables of grace Tacoma. And now we are inviting you to join us on a prayer walk to seek God for his direction in Bremerton. Join us on Sunday, January 5, at 12:00 p.m. for a 45-minute walk at Grace Covenant Church or NW Furniture Bank. Come prepared to walk and to pray. If you have any questions, contact Blake Merwin or Daniel Johnson.
