Our youth ministries at Harbor Covenant are centered around building relationships with Jesus Christ and with each other. We strive to love and accept everyone and grow together in the transformative power of Jesus Christ. While we have many programs to be involved in, our main focus is building these relationships. We want to create a place to belong and teach truths about God, each other, our community, and our culture. The North and Central Campus share one Middle School Youth Group and one High School Youth Group.
We really value teenagers worshipping together with their families, their friends, and their church family. All Middle School and High School students are encouraged to join their families or friends during the first part of the worship service.
We also value time to connect with peers. After the first set of songs, Middle School students are encouraged to go as a group for a lesson and connection time just for them.
All students join the adults in worship for the whole service on the first Sundays of the month.
The Tank is an after school opportunity for students to come and hang out with friends, get school work done, take a nap, meet with others, learn new skills, eat dinner together, compete with friends, or learn from adults that want to pass along their skills to the next generation. We open our doors during on Wednesdays for High School students from 2:30-8:30pm and on Thursdays for Middle School students from 3:00-8:30pm.
Confirmation is a year-long program primarily for 8th graders (but is open to 9th and 10th graders) of monthly gatherings on Sundays at 12:00 pm, to help build a foundation of faith and deep connections to the church.
Project 52 is a year-long program for High School Seniors of monthly gathering on Sundays at 5:30 pm, connection to a mentor, and a trip after school is over in June - all designed to help further your faith beyond High School.
During the week we have small group opportunities for guys and girls in both middle school and high school to further your spiritual desire to seek after what is true and build solid friendships.
