Hope & Health at Bible Camp

Hope & Health at Bible Camp

We love to support an organization called Covenant Youth of Alaska, or “CYAK.” We’ve been supporting their Bible Camp for kids and teens in Eunalakleet for many years now and this year have an opportunity to help them bring hope and health to their community.

In the summer a group of us are headed to camp to move and repair their water tower to help maintain their running water.  A group from harbor covenant actually built it 30 years ago! But it needs an update. With clean and running water at camp, their staff has been able provide a more safe and healthy camping experience for kids in the community. When camp is healthy it brings the hope of Jesus to campers so we are excited to get to help provide that for many more years.

We are hoping to raise $10,000 to cover the expenses of the projects. Any good project needs people to do the work, but it also needs people to support the work.  So won’t you consider giving today.

FREE SALMON DINNER

On June 4 at 6pm (after our annual meeting) the work crew headed to Alaska this summer are hosting a free salmon dinner for anyone that either wants to learn more about Bible Camp or give financially to the projects.

This event is will conclude and celebrate a month of raising funds to replace the 30 year old water tower at camp. We will also celebrate all the ways God has provided and worked in the lives of campers, staff, and volunteers over the 30 years of partnership with Covenant Bible Camp.

Any good project needs people to do the work, but it also needs people to support the work.

You don’t need to give to attend, but would you let us know you are coming so we can have enough food?
