
One of our big opportunities for you to engage in the mission of our church is to participate in CMJ Sunday on Aug 28, 2021.
On CMJ Sunday, instead of gathering for a worship service we gather all over our community and serve schools, business, and individuals.

School Supply Assembly with Communities in Schools
LOCATION: Harbor Cov Central Campus
- 30 spots total
- Great for limited mobilities/families with kid 5 and above
- Childcare eligible
Primary tasks – Come help assemble school supplies for students and teachers at Evergreen Elementary. The collection of supplies will be every Sunday starting 7/31 and run thru 8/21 at Central and North campuses.
Furniture Assembly @ NW Furniture Bank
LOCATION: NW Furniture Bank
- 25 spots total
- Good for ages 12 and above
We’re having an assembly party! If you’ve never helped the furniture bank, here’s your opportunity! We are going to assemble IKEA furniture in their warehouse for their clients. No experience needed!
Habitat For Humanity Store (Lakewood)
LOCATION: NW Furniture Bank
- 10 spots total
- Good for ages 14 and above
Come help Habitat For Humanity by sorting donations, organizing merchandise, assisting customers, and more.

Minter Creek Elementary Clean Up
LOCATION: Minter Creek Elementary School
- 30 spots total
- Good for ages 5 and above
Type of work: Limbing trees, clearing brush, weeding out flower beds, general campus clean up.
Tools needed: Pole saws, sawzalls, loppers, weed eaters, hedgers, hand trimmers, rakes, brooms, blowers, and gloves. (1 large tailer & 1 medium trailer)
Harbor Ridge Middle School Clean Up
LOCATION: Harbor Ridge Middle School
- 30 spots total
- good for ages 10 and above
- childcare eligible (9:00-10:30)
Type of work: Limbing trees, clearing scotch broom, weed eating, removing limb overgrowth around track. (possible addition of beauty bark and replacing wood on hand rail)
Tools needed: Pole saws, sawzalls, loppers, weed eaters, hedgers, hand trimers, rakes, brooms, blowers, and gloves. (1 or 2 medium to small trailers)
