We have a work party at Camp Stand By Me on October 15th from 12:30-3:30. Camp Stand By Me is a camp for children and adults with disabilities and we have a long standing relationship with maintaining their grounds, so campers can have a barrier free environment to experience camp.
So we’re looking to coordinate a group of about 30 people to help garden, prune, and trim back growth. We could especially use those of you with carpentry skills and tools. And we could also use some trucks/trailers, and tarps to haul off the debris.

Since 1974, Easterseals Camp Stand By Me has been an inclusive, barrier-free environment for children and adults with disabilities to experience all the joys of camp without limitations. Camp is about all the things children and adults CAN do: swim, canoe, sing, eat s’mores, build lifelong friendships and more.
For many years Harbor Cov has volunteered consistently to keep the grounds in great condition for staff and campers to do those things. Watch this video to hear about the impact you are making.
